Next, there’s going to be a few changes starting with the next card to try and make things go a little smoother. First, I’m going to make the stikForce weekly cards private going forward instead of public, meaning that if you want in you’ll have to sign up so I can add you and put you in the card. I’m doing in this way so that we no longer keep running into issues with the card becoming full in a moment’s notice and a bunch of people not getting in, especially from guys who just wander into the card when it’s public without knowing what it’s actually for. I contemplated running two cards with a second person manning the card, but I realized this morning that even if I did that there’s a good chance both cards would face this problem with how many people have been expressing their interest in getting an opportunity at an LB through this lately. Sure, my choice of method will probably take a little longer, but I guess I can adjust the time accordingly after the first week of trying it this way.
That said, the stikForce league has also reached the point where I can start making actual fights and matching people up based on their league records, so I’ll start doing that as well. Those who haven’t had a stikForce fight will see their first fight likely be a match based on belt colors and/or ranked records, but going forward they’ll start being matched up based on records as well. I’ll try to announce the match-ups and the general times I expect to have them at (based on a general idea of how long the fights would usually last) so people aren’t waiting around all night for me to send an invite.
Finally, I’d like to note that there will be a small change in how I’ll be getting ahold of people on XBL regarding stikForce and Live Broadcast related materials. I’ve lately started running into a problem on my RuppDat account where I’ve had too many friends (most of which are only because of the Live Broadcast thing) and as a result I’ve had to constantly start deleting friends in order to allow myself to be able to connect to the EA servers so I can actually host the cards or even play online myself. Therefore, this afternoon I bought myself a second account that I don’t intend to play ranked with, and its sole purpose will be to handle all the stikForce and Live Broadcast information and interested fighters so my main account becomes playable again. The name of the account is stikForce360. I would really appreciate it that people who only sent me a friend request just because of stikForce and the Live Broadcast please remove my RuppDat account from their friends lists and add the stikForce360 account instead so I can free up space on my main account and be able to get on the EA servers again, and also only keep the people who truly want me as a friend online. I think the stikForce360 account can handle it for now as it’s a new account with an empty friends list. I’ll regularly check the stikForce360 account as well so there’s not too great of a delay on things.
