For all who are discouraged that their record, leaderboard position, or prize-fighting abilities won't get them to a LB, here's your chance to show off your HYPE skills.
1] Come up with an awesome hype video following the rules/guidelines posted in this thread: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/3485055.page
2] Remember to NOT use music that you do NOT have to the rights to use.
3] Link to it here in this very thread. Strict deadline is Thurs 12/9 12:00PM (noon) EST.
4] Wait for the EA judges to decide who has got the most creative/exciting/entertaining video.
5] Get picked for the Live Broadcast (up to 8 X360 participants and 8 PS3 participants).
6] Have a MW CAF ready that is not a real person (besides yourself) in name or appearance. All fights will be MW.
Rehearsals will be Thurs 12/9 8 & 9PM (PS3) EST, 10 & 11PM (X360) EST.
The public Live Broadcast will be Wed 12/15 8 & 9PM (PS3) EST, 10 & 11PM (X360) EST.
You must attend both dates if you wish to participate. Open to all countries/regions.

How to upload a Hype Video?
Go to http://easports.com/mma. Sign in with your EA account at the top of the page. Select the platform toggle of your game (Xbox 360 or PS3). Select “My MMA” -> “My MMA Profile” -> “Create Fighter Portfolio” and follow the instructions on the pop-up to upload your Hype Video.
After your Hype Video is uploaded, it will eventually appear on your MMA Profile page and inside the Video Cage. It may take a few minutes, so be patient. Check out the Video Cage for examples from other players and to get ideas for your creation.

Hype Vid Guidelines!
1. Keep it short and sweet. Under 60 seconds. Preferably between 30 and 60. Keep your extended “director’s” cut for the office Xmas party.
2. Show us your personality. This video hypes YOU, your fighting preferences, your gaming techniques. What do YOU bring to the MMA table? What makes you a contender?
3. Be safe. This isn’t J@CKA$$. We are NOT responsible for your broken jaw/coffee table/wedding vows.
4. Your hype video needs to be of “reasonable quality”. You don’t need to be Spielberg. Just make sure we can see and hear what’s going on.
5. The content should be relevant. Unless Miles Standish gets choked out while defending the on-stage Plymouth colonies, don’t upload your nephew’s Thanksgiving pageant.
6. Be creative. Be bold. Simplicity is fine, but don’t be afraid to have some fun with it. We all want to be entertained.
7. This game isn’t for pre-schoolers, but we will not be showcasing your 30-second explicit porn remake of the HOSTEL HAS EYES as narrated by Andrew Dice Clay. Use best judgment for content propriety.
8. No footage of illegal acts! And please, no unauthorized, confidential, or copyrighted material. We’re pretty sure you didn’t write the song, “My Humps”. That means no licensed music. Got it? Original and legal materials/s only.
9. No swearing!
10. Keep in mind EA reserves the right to reject or replace any video.
11. Lastly, it needs to be in the proper format and file size. Keep the size under 200MB or the video will probably be rejected. The upload service accepts almost all video formats, but if you experience issues then please try a different format (.mov, .avi, .mp4, .wmv, etc).

I have the rights, to be a bada**|||Not quite sure why this thread was hidden from view over the weekend, but I'm going to extend the deadline to Thurs by noon EST. As long as you are aware that you (if selected) may be called to participate in a rehearsal that same night (Thurs 12/9).
But please, post your hype vid entries HERE in this thread. They'll get lost in the shuffle in PMs and emails. And preferably uploaded to your MMA profile (as specified in the guidelines).|||
