Next 2 weeks... Live Chat fights arranged on the fly!
Possible SF title shots in there as well. Multiple weight classes, although it may be harder to match people up. Generally, we do it by belt/record, but if 2 matched opponents have specific weight-class preferences, it's tougher. So it may be luck of the draw which weight class you get. No MW fights next week, unless 2 guys we match up demand it (title defense for example) or we try a rematch of a previously unsuccessful MW fight.

If you want a shot at the belt, challenge the title holder and get them to show. We'll have more scheduled title defenses later in the month. Also, want to see how leaderboards shake out post-patch, before I start inviting players to those.
We (Preston R.I.P., stik, myself) talked about giving participation-preference to previous LB winners, to determine a King of the LB Ring. What are your thoughts on this? SHould we wait and have a specific Grand-Prix for LB champs (with multiple LB wins)?|||I think you could have a MW King of LB based on the results of the MW fights so far. Haven't really set up any other weight classes to determine the kings of those.
I prefer the open chat way though, seems like you'll have more people watch if more people have a chance to play you know.|||I agree while I loved the way we had the LB's set up during the prize fighting that took alot more time to organize them and tied up a few nights a week for the team to make sure things went really really smooth. But we've found in recent weeks that can get a good turn out of live chatters and really great fights with the "fly by the seat of our vale tudo shorts" events we have had.
So I say the only bit of planning we put into events would be event ideas like the possible upcoming King of the LB event for previous winners and then title defenses which can be done on live chat event nights. We just need our current champs showing up and putting their title on the line. Nemstar did and Boba did... When will the other champs show up? I say if in the next 2 weeks the other champs don't show up we strip them and find ourselves new champs.
I mean its all good to be the champion of on off site league but it doesn't mean half as much as being the official EA MMA Champ. At this point anyone and everyone qualify especially if you're active. I'm sick and tired of seeing these paper champs sit on their gold and not come around and help others in the game. While I currently do not have my mod privileges I'll take this time to attack those in a general sense that any champion who has not shown up to the live chats in the past month is a worthless POS because we've been ASKING/ BEGGING for champs to show up and put their title on the line.
Many of these champs are from the original prize fighting and have yet stepped up to compete again. Well its time for us to get champs who will be here inthe community and not focus on their sub par side league. Every champion should be viewed as a somebody in this game and right now, I don't want to stroke my own ego, like me. I'm here trying to help the new players and even experienced players. I'm helping the team and have earned my way onto 7 LBs and even had an event poster made just of me. What about these other champs? When are they going to step up? At this point I think it will only be when we replace them and get someone else in there.|||I will try being there next Wednesday to defend my belt|||

nope, im not leaving. Next week, the LB legend will be back|||I feel you stik, i think a champ has an obligation to defend. They were given the opportunity to fight for the belt and its only right to give other the same chance.

look i been wanting to prove myself for a long time and i know how i can do it go to the live broadcast fight in anyweight division you want me to and take home the belt i perfer freaken xxxlumerxxx but if that coward won't show up i'll take jrod i';ll the heavy wieght cahmp i'll take anybody please just give me the chance to prove myslelf and thyis is how i wnat top prove myself xxxlumerxxx i know you'll see this i've beaten you in a fight card you call that practice cause we were two days away form a broadcast i'll prove to you to the qworld that i'm better
